Ben Campbell
Ben’s formative years involved attending a remote boarding school in Wales, unloading articulated Michelin trucks in North Wales, three months in Ghana, and studying French at Goldsmiths College, with a bit of Judo and drumming for a rock band tossed in. Putting in the long hours as an assistant to Derek Williams led to Ben collaborating with Kate Bush on her promo for King of the Mountain. He then moved to Cut+Run where he eventually became Partner, and now sits as Partner at The Quarry. Along the way he’s won a Smörgåsbord of Awards and Accolades. Aside from the pleasures of the Craft, Ben feels lucky to have the opportunity to meet fellow creatives. “From client to client, it’s an ever flowing stream of quality grunting.”
He relishes the time off to spend with his growing family in London, North Wales and Rio. When he’s not editing you might find him in a bright corner of a café somewhere in the world, scratching his thinning hair, trying to eek out a paragraph or two. And that’s where he is now, sitting at his computer knocking out this hilarious bio in the third person.
