Bruce Townend
Quarry co-founder Bruce Townend got his taste for storytelling at an early age in the art of photography, and at age 13 Bruce would ring up venues where some of his favourite bands would be playing and blag a press-pass under the guise of working for his school paper. It was during the process of developing and printing his pictures himself that the first notion of editing would come to Bruce, realising that by altering an image, you could change the story it was telling. Soon, Bruce became more concerned with the manipulation of images rather than the taking of them… and an editor was born.
For the past thirty years since founding The Quarry with long-time friend and business partner Paul Watts, Bruce has forged and maintained a reputation as one of the most prolific and talented editors in the industry.
